| Abstract: | The silicon content of hot metal at Shaoguan Steel has been lowered greatly by improving the quality of material,stabilizing blast furnace condition,raising gas utility.To further cut down the silicon content of hot metal, the management of material preparation and blast furnace operation should be done better. |
