Abstract: | LTP is a suitable transport protocol for delay tolerant network in space to transfer data through sessions. For congestion problems of inter satellite links, this paper proposes a congestion control mechanism based on LTP session management SMCC, avoiding congestion by calculating the maximum amount of sessions through connectivity, limiting the amount of data, and reducing redundant data. When congestion is inevitable, adjusting the size of the conversation window of LTP sessions to lift the link congestion through the feedback from the next hop satellite. Simulation results show that SMCC processor is more efficienct and more suitable for inter satellite link, compared with other similar type of congestion control mechanism DCM, TBCC, FM. |
