In their response to C. B. Brenneis's (1997; see record 2007-10660-001) commentary on the American Psychological Association's final report of the Working Group on Investigation of Memories of Childhood Abuse, J. L. Alpert, L. S. Brown, and C. A. Courtois (1999) have clustered their remarks under three headings: nonissues, real issues, and bias. This reply addresses each of these topics in turn.
