| 摘 要： | 本文论述了英国城市设计控制的基本特征及其演化过程。1970年代以来，历史保护地区的城市设计控制推动了方法和技术的发展。1990年代，在新一轮地方发展规划中城市设计政策得到完善，从而为设计控制提供更为充实的法定依据。

| Abstract: | The paper discusses the transformation and main features of design control in Britain. The 1970's witnessed the development and improvement in methods and techniques of design control in conservation areas. In the 1990's, urban design policies became one of the central issues in the new round of development plans, reinforcing the statutory base for design control. |
