| Abstract: | Based on the theory of gray number whitenfication and gray interrelation analysis, a set of gray interrelation method for determining surface roughness of mechanical parts was established. By combining with a living example on determining the surface roughness value of supporting journal of a spindle in certain tank variator, the characteristics and application of this method has been explained. This set of method possesses universal significance and can be popularized and applied to every respect of machine design. |
