| Abstract: | In this paper, a complete strength theory of single shear stress is established from the mechanism of mutual causation between slipping stress and hydrostatic stress. It contains two criterion i. e. shear yield criteria,brittle fracture and ductile volumetic yield criteria,and solves the difficult problem of the influence of intermediate principal stress on material strength theoretically. |
