Studies of 85 Alumina Ceramics in Low -temperature Sintering and Its Wear -resisting

First, the prescription and production process regarding how to utilize the local raw material to produce 85 alumina ceramics is mainly described. Then, It is decided to adopt the a - AbOs and the suit able additives. A series of physics index tests were taken such as the absorption water, desity, wearability, micro - hardness, bending strength and Fracture toughness etc. The result of the test proves that these physics index near or better than the same products index standard of sample. The low - temperature sintering mechansim and the method of raising wearability are also described. It has been used in the industrial production and a benificial result has been obtained.
