A New Type of Corrosion Prevention Pipe-HDPE Composite Pipe Reinforced with Steel Cage

The Engineering sector has been plagued with, for a long time, the sever corrosion on steelpipelines transporting effluent and mixture of oil and effluent in oil field. A new kind of pipe - HDPEcomposite pipe reinforced with steel mesh, which integrates the corrosion resistance property of plasticwith the pressure and temperature resistance property of steel, has been developed to counter abovementfoned problem. The excellent combined properties of these two material will meet the corroionresistance requirement of pipeline transporting corrosive medimp, such as efnuent, in oil field, and willextend the service life of pipeline, bringing great benefit to oil fields. The engineering applications inrecent years have proved the benefit for extending the application of this new type of pipe.
