Abstract:The thrust performance of the laser micro ablation is the main important index for the laser micro propulsion.Carbon dopant could be a kind of important methods for improvement of coupling of the laser and target.Diode laser with lower power and YAG laser with higher power are adopted to ablate the doped PVC.Torsion pendulum with laser interferometry is applied to measure micro impulse,and analytical balance for measurement of micro ablated mass is used.The propulsion parameters of PVC doped with different fractions of carbon ablated by diode and YAG laser are measured.The influences of different fractions of carbon and laser power intensity to impulse coupling coefficient,specific impulse and efficiency are analyzed.
