Health education of patients complicated with cognitive dysfunction

Abstract:Objective:To establish the health education scheme,improving the quality of life of DM complicated with cognitive dysfunction.Methods:(1)37 patients with DM complicated cognitive dysfunction were divided into two groups randomly:the intervention group had 19 cases and control group had 18 cases.(2)Intervention group received health education for 12 weeks,while control group received conventional health education only.(3)On admission,both two groups patients were assessed with MMSE.12 weeks later,the both were assessed with WATS-RC.Results:Before health education,the MMSE scores of the two groups are not have statistical significance(P0.05).The WATS-RC of intervention group's the scores were higher than control group in 12-week(P0.05).Conclusion: The patients with DM complicated cognitive dysfunction have an obvious low level of quantity of life,but they are able to be improved significantly with health education.
