Operation range emulate for active laser IFF system

The structure of system and work principle is analyzed for active laser identification of friend or foe（IFF）system in this paper.Based on the establishing of atmospheric attenuation model,laser beam transmitting is described in Gaussian beams theory.The theory model of laser beams transmitting is established by laser parameter of peak power,divergence angle,etc.Under the size of load flat and system sighting performance were considered,the operation range of active laser IFF system is emulated and calculated.The calculating results prove that the min operation range has big influence to system,and the min operation range is primary factor to design laser IFF system detection sensitivity.By analyzing the configuration of far-field laser beams,this paper provide sadvice of laser divergence angle choice in active laser IFF system.
