Diagnosis of child mycoplasmal pneumonia by X-ray

Object： To study the X-ray characteristics in child with mycoplasmal pneumonia,and increase the cognition of the sick.Methods： 63 mycoplasmal pneumonia chest X-ray data which had been proofed by clinical and laboratory checking were analyzed.Results： l.Small spot or fan-shaped infiltration was shown in 23 cases（37%）;2.Interstitial infiltration was shown in 19 cases（30%）;3,The shadow of the hilar was thicken in 11 cases（17%）;4.Segment or big leaf type infiltration was shown in 10 cases（16%）,liquid accumulation in the chest was shown in 2 cases.Clinical manifestations are cough（63 cases）,fever（52 cases）.There may be an extrapulmonary complication.Pharynx was positive for Mycoplasma pneumonia rapid culture.It could be cured in 2 to 3 weeks if treated with erythromycin or azithromycin.Conclusions： Child mycoplasmal pneumonia shows varied X-ray performance.It is easy to confuse with virus and germ pneumonia mutually.According to the X-ray performance,the combination of clinical and the laboratory checks,has certain meaning to the earlier period diagnosis.Tracking the lesions with chest radiograph is one of the most simple and effective way.Macrolide is the drug of first choice for treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia.
