| 摘 要： | NT服务器是网络中至关重要的设备，要求必须严格监控他以便为企业提供可靠、及时、不间断的服务。DataWare将两部NT服务器构成相互备份的服务器簇，当工作主机当机时，备份主机可迅速侦测出并自动探取接替(Takeover)，用户可在最短时间内恢复作业，避免服务器修机造成损失。

| Abstract: | Modern enterprise are moving their day to day operation from legacy mainframe systems to lightweighted,powerful,and user friendly Windows NT servers. These servers must be constantly monitored and carefully managed to provide reliable, timely, and continuous services to the enterprise. DataWare enables users to couple two Windows NT servers to form a server cluster. Users can configure DataWare to watch over the operation of critical hardware and software resources and take real time reactions to deal with various error conditions automatically. It manages two NT servers so that when one of the servers is down or unavailable, a procedure will be triggered automatically so that the peer server will step in immediately to takeover. The users of the unavailable server can resume access to their critical resources without knowing that the peer server is doing the actual services. |
