| 摘 要： | 这个项目突破了一般工业改造思路，将废弃水塔改造成了一个学生公寓。设计充分保留了原有建筑特点，形成了独特的具有雕塑感的外形和舒适的室内空间，在设计思路和改造方式上都有独到之处，很有借鉴价值。

| Abstract: | The water tower s special features consist of two distinctive architectural elements： the columns and the tank. Columns represent the tower＇ s periphery and elevate the romantic red water-tank-topped-by-aweather-vane high into the air. Together they form a landmark with a strong identity and strong architectural associations. The floors below the tank were used for offices and recreation for several years. |
