| Abstract: | Merits and demerits of PAG water soluble quenchant were introduced. Cooling aqueous solutions with different concentrations were compared with those of water and No. 32 super-speed quenching oils. Such problems as preparation, controls of concentration and characteristics of PAG oil as well as fast and temperature, agitation,adaptable areas, attentive points and the like for PAG quenchant,were discussed. |
