由GPON/EPON升级到10G PON

经济上的可行性曾经是阻碍FTTH网络大量部署的主要障碍,现如今全世界已有超过4000万个FTTH连接,很明显那些过时的观念需要修改。这篇文章中,我们一起来分析PON网络是如何来解决这个＂经济上可行性＂问题的;以及在GPON、EPON选择上都有哪些优、劣势比较;最后,从波长、频谱的角度分析GPON/EPON和10G PON,如何从GPON/EPON升级到10G PON。从ODN（Optical Distribution Network,光分配网络）角度来看,要平滑升级需考虑两个方面的问题：在同一PON树下现有GPON/EPOM和10G PON如何实现共存,如何利用现有的GPON/EPON光网络架构而不会对它们产生干扰。

Migration from GPON/EPON to 10G PON

Economical feasibility was once a main obstacle which blocked deployment of FTTH network,now there have been more than 40 million FTTH connections worldwide,obviously the old concept should be amended.On this article,we would like to analyze how PON network solves ＂economical feasibility＂problems;advantage and disadvantage comparison of GPON and EPON;at last we would analyze GPON/EPON and 10G PON from perspective of wavelength and spectrum,how to migrate from GPON/EPON to 10G PON.From viewpoint of ODN（Optical Distribution Network）,two keypoints should be considered：under the same PON tree,how to realize coexistence of GPON/EPON and 10G PON and how to make this realized,how to utilize existing GPON/EPON optical architecture without bringing any disturbance to them.
