温度对向列相液晶阈值电压的影响

摘    要:采用商用ECB液晶盒灌装向列相液晶样品JK-13141+0.1%S811测量并分析了环境温度对该型液晶阈值电压的影响,结果表明向列相液晶阂值电压是温度的函数。温度从室温25℃变化到85℃,阈值电压从2.6V降到2.2V,这与TN盒闽值电压Uth随温度T增加而降低的理论推导相符。在实际应用中则可能出现在室温下非显示状态的像素,在较高的温度下呈现半显状态。文章为设计高稳定性的液晶显示器件提供了依据。

Abstract:Using the ECB cell, the influence of temperature on threshold voltage of liquid crystal (JK-13141+0.1S811) is measured and analyzed. The results indicate that the threshold voltage changes with temperature. In addition, we theoretically discuss the temperature effect on the threshold voltage of nematic twisted liquid crystal. When the temperature changes from 25℃ to 85℃, the threshold voltage decreases from 0.96V to 0.75V rms. The experimental data are consistent with the theoretical results. It supplies the references for the design of LCD devices with high stability.
