Reliability Education |

| Abstract: | The lack of sufficient formal education in the field of reliability is an accepted fact by both the engineering educator and reliability manager. This paper describes this problem in some detail and contrasts the state of reliability education with other more established disciplines. Some of the previous ambitious attempts to remedy this situation are discussed and some more limited and perhaps more feasible suggestions are presented. |
