| Abstract: | Authors attended the academic symposium of Fragblast′ 6, Johannesburg, the Republic of South Africa, 8～12 August 1999. In this paper, the basic situation of this symposium is introduced, and present development and research achievement application of international blasting and fragmentation are systematically reviewed from seven respects. In accordance with practical situation of China, a few of understandings and proposals on the development of Chinese explosives and blasting techniques are discussed. |
