Abstract:Based on the flowsheet simulation of atmospheric distillation column with Honeywell Unisim,Honeywell SQP optimizer meets the optimization objective with flaws of low efficiency.In order to solve this,the modified genetic algorithm programmed with visual basic was used to optimize the atmospheric distillation column,and a 1.1% energy expenditure was reduced.Compared with Honeywell SQP optimization,the modified genetic algorithm is more effective and more robust.
