Analysis of biomass power generation technologies

Nowadays,we are living in a time when the fossil energy sources are about to be used up and the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious.The research and development of utilization technologies for biomass energy as substitutes for fossil energy have therefore become one of the hot topics which domestic and overseas researchers are following with interest.This paper introduces the primary conversion utilization technologies for biomass energy and analyses the direct combustion and gasification technologies of biomass for power generation.It is concluded that the biomass power generation technologies according to cascaded utilization of energy will be the main biomass utilization forms in the near future.
