| Abstract: | This paper briefly presents the relationship between process energy consumption and costs during alumina production, stressing technology improvement of heavy energy consumption from alumina production by Bayer method in China, showing the know-how and approaches achieved from production practice for reducing energy consumption by Bayer method, and putting forward some proposals on energy saving in Bayer process production. |
