Strengthening of polypropylene fibre

Conclusions It has been shown that elongation of polypropylene fibre at a temperature above the melting point of the unoriented polymer is accompanied not only by an increase in structure orientation, but also by formation of a denser structure, which ensures a high fibre strength.All-Union Scientific Research Institute for Synthetic Fibres (VNIIV).
