| Abstract: | Corticosteroids must be derivatised prior to GC/MS analysis. Varieties of derivatization methods are discussed in this paper. It involves methoxyamine-trimethylsilylization(MO-TMS),enol-TMS,encirclization and chemical oxidation. |
