二阶色散耦合系数光纤耦合器开关变分分析

利用基于拉格朗日密度的变分原理解耦合系数与频率有关的耦合非线性薛定谔方程,得到了纤芯中能量转移系数的雅克比椭圆函数形式的解析表达式,研究了二阶色散耦合系数对基态孤子在两纤芯对称光纤耦合器中的传输和开关特性的影响。研究表明,初始啁啾使光脉冲传输时的耦合长度减小,耦合器的开关特性变差;二阶色散耦合系数使光脉冲在二纤芯之间能量转换的周期变小、开关阈值功率增加而且开关特性也变得更加陡峭。
