The Application of Racal Positioning Technology in Offshore Template Construction |

| Abstract: | In order to resolve the contradiction between the single functionof fixed offshore platform and the expensive building cost of movable operation platform,an integrated platform having both the functions of oil production and the well work-over is developed.The key factor for putting into use of this kind of platform is the correct positioning of the offshore template.This paper analyzes the structural characters and the difficulties of the offshore engineering of the integrated platform,describes the application of advanced Racal technology for accurate positioning. |
