大功率LED组合驱动设计

摘    要:分析了恒电压和恒流驱动发光二极管(LED)的发光特性,说明了大功率LED应采用恒流驱动的理由。设计采用2片LM3406组合设计了用于驱动大功率LED的恒流源电路,所设计的电路可以提供高达3A的驱动电流,并具有无级电流调节,过热保护,低电保护等特点。经测试效果良好。

Abstract:This paper analyzed the characters of high power light-emitting diode (LED), and explained why driving high power LED by constant current. By using two pieces of LM3406, the paper designed a constant current circuit to drive high power LED. The circuit can supply as high as 3A driving current, and it offer stepless current regulation, over temperature protection and low power shutdown, etc. It works well when testing.
