| Abstract: | As part of power transmission line,OPGW cable is easy to be stroked by lighting.This paper discusses the installation methods,analyses the lightning reasons by cases study,put forward the solution,which the connection of OPGW cable and normal optical cable should be done at terminal pole(tower) and buried directly to substations to avoid lighting under the door-frame so as to ensure the safe operation of power communication system. |
