铒镱共掺磷酸盐基阵列波导激光器的研究进展

摘    要:简要介绍了铒镱共掺磷酸盐波导激光器发展历史,描述了铒镱离子能级结构、激光机制及其影响因素以及磷酸盐激光玻璃的特性,具体阐述了铒镱共掺磷酸盐 波导激光器阵列的研究现状、制作方法、物理结构与运作特性以及用作光纤通信光源时与分布反馈半导体激光器相比的独特优势,指出了其在未来波分复用光通信系统中的应用价值.

Abstract:The development history of Er/Yb codoped phosphate waveguide laser is introduced. The energy level configuration, laser mechanism and influence factors of Er3+ and Yb3+ are presented, as well as phosphate glass's characteristics. Recent research progress, fabrication method, physical configuration and operating performance of Er/Yb codoped phosphate waveguide laser array are illustrated in detail, in addition to the waveguide laser array's superiorities to the Distributed Feedback (DFB) semiconductor laser in optical fiber communication. The application value of the waveguide laser array in the future wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) system is indicated.
