多硫化钠/溴液流电池的初步研究

摘    要:以聚丙烯腈石墨毡和化学沉积镍钴合金的泡沫镍为正、负极电极材料,4 mol/L NaBr、1.3 mol/L Na2S4为正负极电解液,研究了常温下多硫化钠/溴液流电池的开路电压、正负极电位随电池充放电容量的变化规律,测定并分析了电池及正负极充放电时的极化曲线及电池的循环性能.结果表明:所用的电极材料对电池正负极反应的电催化活性好,当充放电电流密度为30 mA/cm2时,该电池库仑效率达96.1%,能量效率为69.4%(43次结果平均值).

Abstract:Polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based graphite felt and foamed nickel coated with Ni-Co alloy were used as positive and negative electrode material, 4 mol/L NaBr and 1.3 mol/L Na_2S_4 as positive and negative electrolyte for the polysulfide/bromine redox flow cell(PSBRFC). The regularity of variation of PSBRFC's open circuit voltage, positive and negative electrode equilibrium potential with different charge and discharge capacity was studied at room temperature.The charge-discharge polarization curves of PSBRFC and its positive and negative electrode, the cell's cycle performance were also determined and analyzed. The results showed that PAN-based graphite felt and foamed nickel coated with Ni-Co alloy had perfect electrocatalytic activity to the reactions of PSBRFC's positive and negative electrodes.When charge-discharge current density was 30 mA/cm~2,the cell's Coulombic efficiency was up to 96.1% and the energy efficiency was about 69.4% (average values of 43 test results).
