| Abstract: | The attachment of Thiothrix to stalks of the ciliated protozoan Opercularia has been observed and photographed in oxygen activated sludge. Correlations between the level of dissolved hydrogen sulfide in wastewater and the proliferation of Thiothrix are made. |
