ARMORIQUE: A pure ATM versatile interconnection network |

| Abstract: | We present a proposal for a pure all-ATM private network architecture able to be implemented on any physical wiring (star, ring or hierarchical network). The discussion is based upon an experimental network under study in CNET, named ARMORIQUE. Traffic estimations show that the solution proposed is able to fulfil severe grade of service requirements and offers sufficient throughput to the interconnected sources. |
