| Abstract: | Overall ninety-seven male subjects suffering from stage-II alcoholism were studied for effects of verapamil on pathologic drawing toward alcohol. The above drug proved to be very effective in the treatment of alcoholism, which fact might be accounted for by certain confunction of membrane depolarization in the release of dopamine. |
