| Abstract: | The structure and performance characteristic of the zinc oxide arrester are presented and compare it with the performance characteristic of a traditional valve silicon-carbide arrester.Some mistaken ideas in application are analyzed and point out the requirements for the zinc oxide arrester in selection and maintenance and measures. |
