折射率径向平方律变化的增益引导光纤的束缚因子

摘    要:主要探讨了折射率与增益的共同导引下,折射率径向平方律变化的增益引导光纤束缚因子的大小.首先解出了折射率径向平方律变化的增益引导光纤的场解,然后由波印廷定理推导得出了光纤中束缚因子的计算公式,最后利用数值计算的方法,得到了这种光纤在单模传输下的束缚因子的大小范围.结果显示:折射率平方律变化的增益导引光纤具有比折射率阶跃变化的增益导引光纤更好的束缚能力,利用这种光纤能使光纤激光器得到更高的输出功率.

Abstract:It is the very important for improving the output of double-clad optical fibers laser to enlarge the diameter of optical fiber,and it is also an importance thing to analysis the confinement of the fiber.In the paper the confinement factor for square-power gain-guiding optical fibers is focused on while the optical wave being guided in gain and refraction,the form of the fields is given at first for the new type of optical fiber,then the expressions of confinement factor is obtained from Poynting's theorem,one can obtain the range of the confinement factor by numerical recipes.The conclusion reveals that the confinement factor of square-power gain-guiding optical fibers is larger than the one of step-profile gain-guiding fiber,and the output power of double-clad optical fibers laser will improve higher if using this new type optical fiber.
