一种适合MPEG-4传输的IP区分服务网络模型

文章提出了一种改进的适合MPEG-4视频传输区分服务的模型。根据MPEG-4视频流特点和网络的拥塞程度,视频服务器中,采用笔者提出的区分服务标记算法。边缘路由器中,采用笔者提出的区分服务调度算法犤1犦,设计了一种新的区分服务调度器,它动态调节加权服务量,适合在IP区分服务网络中运用,降低实时变比特率突发业务的延时和抖动。实验结果表明,在网络带宽不能保证实时MPEG-4传输所需带宽时,采用该文提出的网络模型,实时传输MPEG-4视频序列,恢复序列的主观效果以及峰值信噪比PSNR都优于传统的尽力而为(Best-effort)方法,并且端对端延时和延时抖动也达到实时传输的要求。

A Network Model Fitting MPEG-4 Video Transmission over IP Differentiated Services

This paper presents an improved IP differentiated services(DiffServ)framework fitting MPEG-4video trans-mission.Based on the feature of MPEG-4flow and the extent of network congestion,implements a new DiffServ marking algorithm.In the border router,it designs a new DiffServ scheduler(BSWCS:Bit-based Weight time Slot Compensate Scheduler),which dynamically adjust the weighted quantum of service.Under the condition that network bandwidth can't guarantee the demand of MPEG-4real-time transmission,the PSNR comparison of restored MPEG-4video frame se-quence verify the method has much more better performance than Best-effort network.End-to-end delay and delay jitter also meet the real-time transmission demand in the improved DiffServ network.
