| Abstract: | Humor turns to be a special way of verbal communication, therefore the study of humorous utterances is a pragmatic problem. In this paper, we try to study humorous utterances form a pragmatic perspective, namely, demonstrative words?cooperative principle(CP)?presupposition?speech acts and relevance theory(RT), so as to implore the fundamental principles between pragmatics and humorous utterances, and further enhance people's humorous perception and appreciation. |
