膨胀型阻燃剂b-MAP对聚丙烯阻燃性能的显微学研究

摘    要:膨胀型阻燃剂b-MAP与聚丙烯的相容性良好,5%的b-MAP的添加量可以使聚丙烯UL94阻燃等级达V0级,极限氧指数为29.0%.通过扫描电子显微镜对b-MAP-PP复合材料燃烧后的膨胀炭层结构进行观察,发现膨胀炭层外部堆叠紧密,内部充斥着不燃性气体氨气,此种形貌结构有效地阻止了氧气和热量的透入,从而阻止材料进一步燃烧.

Abstract:Intumescent flame retardant b-MAP has good compatibility with PP. At a level of 25%, b-MAP imparts a consistent UL94-V0 rating and 29.0%( LOI ) of flame retardancy to PP. Intumescent char residues of b-MAP/PP composite after burning were observed by means of SEM. The result showed that intumescent char residues outside are stacked closely, and non-flammable air NH3 occurrred inside. This pattern structure inhibited permeation of oxygen and heat quality efficiently, which stopped materials further burning.
