STUDY ON AGING OF OUTER LAYER MATERIAL OF OUTDOOR PV MODULE BACKSHEET

This paper presents the test results of the outer layer material of the PV module backsheet that has been operating outdoor for 6 years.The outer layer material of the PV module backsheet is divided into three different test areas:the central area of the solar cell,the edge area of the solar cell,and the edge area of the PV module.By testing the aging degree of the outer layer material of the outdoor PV module backsheet by the thickness,reflectivity,gloss,abrasion resistance,and surface micromorphology of outer layer material,the results show that the aging degree of the outer layer material of the PV module backsheet is different in these three different test areas.The aging degree of the outer layer material of the backsheet in the edge area of the PV module is the least serious,and the aging degree of the outer layer material of the backsheet in the central area of the solar cell is the most serious.This result can provide a meaningful reference for the later operation and maintenance,repair and recycling of PV modules in the outdoor PV power station.
