摘    要:针对目前Internet中大部分路由器不支持组播数据传输的问题,本文基于Agent技术提出了一种实现广域网内组播数据传输的方法。该方法使用了基于Agent的通信模型.组播会话中的每个成员通过其上运行的Agent实现数据收发;并将能够实施IP组播通信的网络范围看作是一个组播域,在每个组播域中自动选择一个Agent作为主Agent(MA),组播域中的其他Agent为备份Agent(BA);在组播域内利用IP组播进行数据传输,在组播域间利用主Agent之间的TCP连接进行数据传输.从而使得组播通信能够跨越路由器的障碑。此外还实现了BA向MA的自动升级.保证了组播会话的可靠性和连续性。

Abstract:Due to nonsupport of IP routers, IP multicast packets cannot be transmitted over widearea network now. A solution based on Agent technology is presented to resolve the problem. In the solution, each multicast member owns an Agent, which helps its owner communicate with other members. A network area that can implement native IP multicast is called a multicast domain. In each domain, one Agent, which is automatically chosen, is worked as main Agent (MA), others are backup Agents (BAs). Members inside a multicast domain communicate with each to her by native IP multicast protocol, and members belong to different domains communicate through the TCP connection of the main agents. By this way, multicast data can be transmitted across routers in Internet. And by the autoswitch of the BA to MA, reliability and continuity of a multicast session can be achieved.
