Progress of global regulations on cosmetic non-animal testing and domestic status

The process and development trend of non-animal testing regulations of cosmetics both at home and abroad had been reviewed. The global and domestic progresses were compared in the aspects of the regulation & policy changes, the development of alternative methods and the regulatory adoption. The process of relevant policy changes and alternative adoption in China on nonanimal testing had been analyzed in detail. Then the future trend of in vitro alternative methods in cosmetic industry was prospected.
