The prospect of the development of the crude oil and natural gas transmission pipeline in our country

The energy of the oil and natural gas is one of the main factors that restrict the development of national economy and the development of petroleum industry is a strategy problem. In the early 21st century, the pipeline industry of our country will reach the advanced standard in the world. According to the forecast and assumption of transnational and domestic pipeline construction, the author introduces four features of pipeline industry development in our country: 1 long-distance, forming network, natural gas network being developed outstandingly; 2 high rate of flow, large diameter, high pressure; 3 high quality, high strength, high toughness; 4 using longitudinally welded pipe. At last, seven suggestions related to the development and manufacture of the steel pipe used for pipeline industry in our country is put forward. The core is that we should plan as a whole inter-trade and trans-department, study spirally welded pipe, build the longitudinally submerged arc welded pipe production line, and thus improve the domestic standard of making pipes.
