| Abstract: | As a new technique of frequency synthesizer, direct digital frequency synthesizer (DDS) has found wide applications today. However, its serious spurious noise is a bottleneck of its further development. In this paper, traditional DDS is briefly introduced firstly, and the digital realization and spectrum analysis of computational DDS are made then. Finally, the result is given that the spurious noise performance of computational DDS is better than that of traditional DDS by a comparison between these two methods. |
