Abstract:In order to reduce the modeling difficulty of photovoltaic cell,the single-diode model was simplified on the basis of the equivalent circuit model of photovoltaic cells.For the accuracy of the simplified model,an improved single-diode series model,the thermal voltage model,was obtained by considering the factors such as equivalent resistance that caused the modeling error.Then some correction parameters of environment were added into the thermal voltage model,so the thermal voltage dynamics model was obtained.Meanwhile,in order to verify the model validity,a practical project model was established in the MATLAB/Simulink environment.The simulation experiments and analysis of the output characteristics of photovoltaic cells were performed.4-parameter behavior model was compared for simulation results.The analysis results indicate that the thermal voltage dynamic model is more accurate than 4-parameter behavior model in higher irradiance circumstance and at higher temperature.
