Abstract:The zinc oxide arrester (MOA) without the discharge gap, zinc oxide varistor long withstand voltage, continuous resistive component in leakage current will continue to accelerate aging resistance sheet. The more serious aging, resistive component in leakage current increases more quickly, and form a vicious spiral. If the MOA deterioration in action under load, will make the normal to the insulation level reduced, leakage current increases, until become MOA breakdown and explosion. So monitoring in the operation of the MOA work, judge its quality is very necessary.
