| Abstract: | The Barcelona City Council approved the Modification of the General Metropolitan Plan （MMPG） for the renovation of the Poble- nou district in 2000. With the grid pattern of Barcelona Eixample kept, the plan transformed 200 hectares of industrial land into a multi-functional and innovative economic district to attracted the @ activities, and transferred the focus of urban development to the east. |
