浅谈翻译中文化差异的三种处理方法

语言、文化、翻译三者是密不可分的。民族文化的差异性是影响翻译实践的一个重要因素。本文通过实例着重探讨处理翻译中文化差异的三种常用方法,即直译加注法、意译法和增译法。无论是用哪种方法,都是为了更确切地将源语的文字信息和内涵移植到目的语中。在实践中,译者不仅要培养双语能力,而且更要注重双文化能力,以更好地发挥翻译作为跨文化交际的桥梁的作用。

On Treatment of Cultural Factors in Translation

Translation is inseparable with language and culture.Cultural differences are very important factors in translation.Three methods of treating cultural factors in translation are given,i.e.literal translation with notes,free translation,and translation with added illustrative information.No matter what method,the purpose is to faithfully transfer the cultural information from the source language to the target language.In practice,translators should be equipped with qualified bilingual competence as well as bicultural competence,so as to give full expression to the role of translation as the bridge in cross-cultural communication.
