Abstract:This paper describes a three dimensional numerical simulation and experimental study on combustion process and NO x formation in a 600MW tangentially fired boiler under three different operating conditions, in which a simplified post process NO x formation mechanism model, along with the gas particle multiphase flow model is adopted. Meanwhile the computational results are compared with the experimental ones, which are well coincident. Figs 5, tables 3 and refs 11.
