| Abstract: | A new method is described for determining the microwave dielectric properties of solid materials,for example agricultural products,mineral,of known densities from the dielectric properties of pulverized samples measured by employing the short circuited waveguide principle at a few different bulk densities.Properties for the solid are obtained by extrapolation of functions of the dielectric constant and loss factor that are linearly related to the bulk density of the air particle mixture. |
