Abstract: | The effect of precipitation of a dispersed CaTiO3–rich phase on the shape, organization, and thickness of ferroelectric domains in BaTiO3 was studied. No morphologically related precipitate could be produced despite the close structural similarity of the phases involved. These effects, when correlated with changes in dielectric aging behavior, show that dielectric aging is not a simple thermally activated process. |
